Rainbow Sticks - Extension Activity Idea
This is such a fun extension activity for our Rainbow Sticks PlayPod! All you need is tape! We had a great time talking about what symmetry meant and how you can make something symmetrical.
Give it a try!
Set-up:
1.) Place a piece of tape down on the table.
2.) Grab your colorful craft sticks from the Rainbow Sticks PlayPod.
3.) Set up a design on one side of the tape.
4.) Have child try to create symmetry by doing the same design on the other side of the tape.
Other suggestions: You can have child create BOTH sides by themselves, or they can do one side and you can finish the other side.
